Jesus Fucking Christ formed in August of 2004. Hailing from Oakland, California, these three Bay Area veterans of hardcore set forth to form the ultimate old-school punk rock band.

Larry (The Rickets, Hell After Dark) was looking to start something new--his last band Deadly Weapons having recently broken up. After successfully enlisting the drumming talents of Jamie (formerly of Pitch Black and Screw 32) they sought out Dave Ed (of Neurosis) to complete the lineup. One year later the band is in the final stages of mixing their debut full-length, and plan on touring Japan in May/June 2006.

Jesus Fucking Christ's sound is best described as classic American mid-80’s hardcore, with a heavy Pacific-Northwest (Poison Idea/Accused) influence.
